After 20 years of sitting in front of a computer screen making digital things, I have nothing physical to show for it; just some digital footprints that will be purged one day or overhauled in favour of a new design.

Over the past few years I have found great pleasure in making physical, real-world objects. Not just using my hands, but using all of my senses to create a something I can feel. This year long project will see me re-connecting with my natural instinct to make physical objects which are both practical and beautiful.

I shall be documenting each make over on my YouTube channel and will be selling the objects I make each week here on this website. I am sure to learn lots over the coming year and hope that you find both my content enjoyable and my products useful.

FAQ

What will you be making?

To be honest, I am not even sure yet. I have a list of things to make for the first 8-10 weeks. I am pretty sure that the skills I learn over this time will inspire me to think of other useful, practical and beautiful items.

Will your products be one-off's?

I'm sure that some of the larger items will be one-off's but the smaller ones can be replicated. The idea is to sell the things I make so there will be some commercial decisions to be made for each product.

Can I copy your products?

Absolutely. All products will have an accompanying 'how-to' video and I would love to see peoples own interpretations of my products.

What tools & equipment do you use?

I'm sure the list will grow over the year, but all of the tools and machinery I use are readily available in any of the DIY superstores. Specific tools for each product will be listed in each 'how-to' video.
